Every Crateit Town police station is designed specifically to be coloured on, again and again. The police station keeps turning into new adventures - for as long as the child draws on it.

Crateit markers are made to settle as layer upon layer. When the mood changes, the colours change. The day the police station has to be blue, it is blue. Next summer it can be green with red details.
It means the first stroke is not the final decision. It is just the first. The police station keeps developing for as long as your child wants to draw on it.

We make our own markers. Five colour families, two nib sizes. The pigment is developed to be laid in layers, so you can colour over, update and transform the police station as often as you like.
A fine nib for signs, windows, names and small stamps. This is the one you use to give the details character.
A broader nib for colouring whole facades, roads and garages. The pigment covers evenly and can be applied in several layers.

What we get asked most.
Do I assemble it myself?
The station assembles without glue or tools. The pieces click together. Most parents are done in 20-30 minutes, and it is a pleasant job to do together with the child.
Can we recolour it?
Yes. You can always colour over it again and again with Crateit markers. The pigment settles in layers, so you can update the building as often as you like.
Which marker collection should we choose?
It depends on what your child is into. Playful is the most classic choice for a police station. Nature and Forest suit earth tones. Pastel and Wonderland give more imaginative worlds.
Should we choose 1mm or 3mm?
1mm is for details like signs, names and small stamps. 3mm is for colouring whole surfaces such as facades and roofs. Most people choose 3mm first and add 1mm when the child starts drawing more precisely.
What if a piece breaks?

Does it fit the other Crateit sets?
Yes. All Crateit Town buildings and road pieces are designed to fit together.
Is it safe for younger siblings?
The station is tested and certified to EN71 and is suitable from age 3. We recommend ages 5-9, where the child gets the most out of the whole set: the role play, the assembly and the colouring. Children under three should play under supervision.
Where is it made?
In Denmark. The station is made at sheltered Danish workshops, where adults with special needs handle assembly and packing. Every set carries a story of craft, care and community.
