See all marker collectionsCrateit Town is a wooden car track, but it does not stop at the roads. Our Crateit Town series of buildings, road pieces and vehicles is designed to fit together across sets and grow with your child. A city to build, color and play with, again and again.
Start with the roads, then make the track bigger
Many families start with a few road pieces and a car. Adventure Track Extension adds new routes, Around The Mountain takes the cars round a mountain, and Rule the Roundabout gives the city its own roundabout. Dreamy Drawbridge lays a drawbridge across the landscape, and the Traffic & Road Signs Pack puts signs along the roads. Set by set it becomes a big wooden car track, where the children decide where the roads go.
Cars and buildings along the track
A car track needs somewhere to drive to. The Police Station comes with police cars, a motorcycle and 12 road pieces, and the Fire Station comes with a fire engine, a helicopter and a motorcycle. City Gas Station is the place to fill up, and the garages Vista Villa and Crossroad Cottage give the cars somewhere to park. Drive with Turbo Racer, Thunder Truck or Bus Adventures.
Color the track, then color it again
The wooden toys come unpainted, so children color the city themselves with our own markers, developed for Crateit Town. Five color families, two tip sizes, and a pigment that lets your child build layer upon layer, day after day. See all markers for wood.
Open ended play from Denmark
Crateit Town is open ended play: there is no right answer for how the city should look. The parts click together without glue, and the toys are designed in Odense and produced at sheltered workshops in Denmark. The city can also be combined with Roomies, so the dollhouse stands in the middle of town.
The questions we get most often
