With Crateit, we can proudly say that our products create joy, utility, and benefit, as all our products are produced and assembled by adults with various challenges in sheltered workshops.

We have respect for the individual and therefore focus on creating meaning and responsible work for the affected citizens.

Launch of Crateit

2021

Crateit is founded

Tonny and Martin want to make a difference. In 2021, they chose to become self-employed after completing their education to continue Crateit's missions and ambitions of producing Danish quality street toys for children.

First producer

Odense workshops

Odense Workshops became the first workshop to produce wooden toys for Crateit.

Collab with HC. Andersen

September, 2022

Licensing collaboration with H.C. Andersen's house

The collaboration agreement with H.C. Andersen's house has become a reality, and Crateit now has been granted permission to convey H.C. Andersen's stories through our products.

First investment

October, 2022

Crateit's first investment

From 2022, Crateit became part of Danish Design Invest.

First TV appearance in Denmark

November, 2022

Winner of the Odin Concept award

Crateit Winning Odin Concept 2022

At the end of 2022, Crateit won the prestigious Odin Concept Price for our innovative design and sustainable approach to toy production.

New collaboration with Book & Idea

December, 2022

Crateit's products can now be found in Book & Idea

The end of 2022 brought a new collaboration agreement. We entered into an agreement with Denmark's largest bookstore chain, Book & Idea.

Formland - design and lifestyle fair

Januar, 2023

Crateit participates in its very first fair

In the beginning of 2023, Crateit participated in its first trade fair. Martin and Tonny went to Herning to present Crateit's products at the Formland fair.

Spielwarren fair

Januar, 2024

Exhibition at the world's largest toy fair

Crateit started 2024 with a trip to Germany. Here we participated in the world's largest toy fair, Spielwarenmesse.

New premises

August, 2024

Employee and product increase

By 2024, the dream of larger premises was fulfilled, and we moved the tent options from Odense C to Odense M to larger premises.

Officially in 15 markets

August, 2024

Crateit rounds 15 markets

A milestone for Crateit. We are now available in 15 different markets. With the launch in the Swiss market, our products can now be found globally in 15 markets.
