Crateit was founded in 2021 by Tonny and Martin, two students with an idea: wooden toys that both stimulate children's cognitive development and provide meaningful employment to people often overlooked in the job market.

Hands Every single part is shaped, assembled and packed by people. Not machines.
Heart We build identity, community and pride. One toy at a time. Our production happens close to the people it helps.
Action We have created 350+ meaningful jobs at sheltered Danish workshops, because alone we can do little, but together we can do everything.

The world's strictest

We use CARB Phase 2 certified MDF, the world's strictest standard for formaldehyde emissions. Everything produced close to you, with focus on both people and materials.

All Crateit wood is made from CARB Phase 2 certified HDF and MDF, the highest international classification for low formaldehyde emissions.
