Fairytale is the Crateit fairy-tale world, created in partnership with the Hans Christian Andersen House in Odense. Every figure and every scene draws on the tales of Denmark’s best known author.
What age are the sets for?
The Fairytale sets are recommended from age 3. Smaller parts may need an adult hand during assembly.
Can I colour them in?
Yes. Our acrylic markers cover MDF cleanly and can be built up layer by layer. Let your child paint The Little Mermaid or The Tinderbox in colours of their own choosing.

Colour the fairy tale
Every set is a blank canvas. Use our acrylic markers to give the mermaid the colours of the sea, the Tinderbox its sparks, or Clumsy Hans an entirely new look. The pigment can be built up layer by layer.
