Danish-made wooden toys built to be played with.
Crateit wooden toys are made to spark a child’s imagination. Every set is drawn in Odense, laser cut in Denmark and assembled at sheltered workshops by adults with special needs. No glue, no tools, and no detours through distant factories.
The pieces click together, and most sets go together in under an hour. After that they can be painted, taken apart and combined with the other worlds.
How the worlds fit together
Every set is drawn to the same scale, so they work together across the series. A dinosaur from Quest can walk through Crateit Town, and a unicorn from Stella can move into the Roomies dolls’ house. Families usually start with one set and expand over the years.
Material and safety
The wood comes from PEFC certified forestry, and the toys are tested to EN71, the European toy safety standard. The sets are recommended from age 3, and smaller parts may need an adult hand during assembly.
Missing an instruction sheet
Every assembly guide is ready as a PDF, and if a piece has snapped we can usually cut a new one. Find your instructions here.
